September 2013 Newsletter Notes

Secretary's Scribble
Numbers down on last month's run to Aldeburgh for Fish & Chips but then the Secretary did not make it. he only got as far as Snape when a float in one of the the carbs on his Armstrong sunk necessitating a lift back to Ipswich to get a spare!
The following Saturday was the Motoring Show at Easton Farm Park, not such a busy affair as usual but enjoyable.
Then came the big one, August 4th, our Annual Rally combined with the Helmingham Festival of Classic & Sports Cars. By mid day over 800 cars were on display and the place was heaving with visitors.
Many thanks to all who helped out on the day.
The weather held, the exhibitors came, the crowds came, a very enjoyable day. lets hope we were able to make a lot of money for our charity, the East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
