October Newsletter Notes
Secretary's Scribble
The weather seems to have come to its senses and has been a little kinder of late and we have enjoyed some proper summer days over the last few weeks!
Helmingham really got their skates on this year and sorted the money side out in record time and we were able to present a cheque for £3,750 to the Ipswich EACH, a really good show!!
Other events that went well were the Pre 1940's gathering at Felixstowe Museum, Stonham Barnes at which we had some 50 vehicles, Otley Hall Open Day - possibly the last of these - and Lavenham Rare Breeds Show at Lavenham where we had over 60 vehicles
Our Club night meal at the Yew Tree on 30th August was disappointing in that the service was extremely slow and some of the dishes were left wanting.
