Report on our Annual Rally at Helmingham Hall which is combined with the Helmingham Festival Of Classic & Sports Cars. The weather was good if a little brezzy, well it was untill about 3.30 pm when we had quite a large shower which had the effect of nearly clearing the showground of the general public, pity. Other than that the day went really well with a good crowd supporting the event and around 600 classic and sports cars for the fans to look at and of course to watch the selected 40 or so drive the Concourse in both the morning and afternoon sessions, always very popular with the crowd. Plenty of other events for the family, samba band, Birds of prey, Jazz band, stalls of all descriptions etc and of course plenty to eat and drink. A really good day out.
The following weekend saw the pre 1940's cars at Felixstowe Museum where they had a good turn out and an enjoyable day.
September sees us back at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club for a Talk by one of our members.
